The climate of Paraíba: when to go to Paraíba

Paraíba has a hot humid tropical climate with abundant rains along the coast, which becomes drier in the interior of the state becoming semi-arid in the western region of Sertão Paraíbano.

Along the coast, the rains exceed 2,000 mm per year, the rainy season lasts from February to August, while the driest months are from September to December. The average maximum temperatures vary between 28 ° C in winter and 32 ° C in summer, the average minimum temperatures vary between 19 ° C and 23 ° C.

WHEN TO GO TO PARAÍBA

Along the coast, the best time for a visit are the driest months between September and December. In the highlands, the period between August and February is excellent. While in Sertão of the Paraíba the months with the best climate are those between May and August.
