The Brazilian state of Espirito Santo has a tropical climate which, due to the different altitudes, varies between the tropical altitude climate that characterizes the area of the highlands, and the classic tropical climate that characterizes the flat area along the coast.

Inland temperatures decrease with height, in these regions there are average minimum temperatures which are almost 10 ° C less than those along the coast.

The sea water temperature varies between 27 ° C in February and March and 23 ° C in the months between July and September.
