The month of November is synonymous for autumn colours in the forests and woods of the northern hemisphere of the Planet. In this month the rainy season ends in Indochina. Thus you can consider a trip to this part of the world. The month of November is also a good time to visit Yunnan in the People’s Republic of China thanks to the mild climate that characterizes this region of China during the autumn.

Starting in November the climate also improves in the Caribbean area: The cyclones period ends and prices are not as high as in the following months. November is the last month to spot whales along the South African coast between Cape Town and Hermanus. In Argentina and Chile the summer is approaching and the days are getting longer and becoming increasingly mild. Along the northeastern coast of Brazil from São Salvador da Bahia to São Luís do Maranhão there is still the dry season during this month.

In November you can also consider a trip to New Zealand and Australia. In this part of the world we are in full spring and the climate is very pleasant. In New Zealand you can admire the particularly impressive blooms of wild lupines (Lupinus perennis) on the spectacular South Island.
