Cesky Krumlov climate: when to go to Cesky Krumlov

The town of Cesky Krumlov is located along the valley of the Vltava (Moldau) in southern Bohemia in a hilly area along the banks of the river. Because of the location of the town in the center of continental Europe, the climate of Český Krumlov is temperate continental, four seasons are clearly differentiated, with cold, dry winters and hot, humid summers.

Regarding the temperatures of Cesky Krumlov, the summer months from May to August are the wettest and warmer months with average maximum temperatures of 27 ° C / 25 ° C. The months from December to February are the coldest, with temperatures often below freezing. The average minimum winter temperatures ranging between -5 ° C in January and -3 ° C in December.
