The island of Praslin is one of the most beautiful in the Seychelles archipelago, in addition to being the second largest island it is also a quiet island full of natural wonders. Among these, of course, the beaches. One of the most beautiful, but considered by many to be the most beautiful beach on the island, is that of Anse Lazio.

This beach is located in the northern part of Praslin lying along the Baie Chevalier. It is a 600 meters long strip of white sand surrounded by splendid granite rocks with clear waters and a beautiful blue color that takes on wonderful colors with the sun. Green vegetation is the background and contrast to the white of the beach and the blue of the sea, giving a wild aspect to the landscape. This beach, unlike other Seychelles beaches, is not protected by a coral reef.

When visiting the beach, inquire about the tides. The size of the beach varies a lot according to the tides, if the tide is low you can find a large beach, but if the tide is high the beach can almost disappear and the water can reach up to lapping the vegetation. This variation in the tide sometimes occurs in a few hours. The place is also great for admiring beautiful sunsets.

Anse Lazio can be reached via the road that runs along the whole island. If you have a rental car, there is a convenient parking lot next to the beach entrance.
