Documents: As for European citizens, to enter Slovakia you need to have your passport or identity card, you must always travel with a valid identification document. Children and minors must have their own passport / identity card. A passport is required for citizens of other countries. For some nationalities a visa can be requested.
Driving license: National driving license.
Car insurance: European insurance is valid for driving with your car in Slovakia.

SLOVAKIA HEALTH INSURANCE, TRAVEL INSURANCE, AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Healthcare: The health situation in Slovakia is is quite good even if sometimes the healthcare facilities present deficiencies. Additional travel and health insurance is recommended. To take advantage of public assistance it is necessary to present the European Health Insurance Card.
Vaccinations: No vaccinations are required.
Pharmacy: Pharmacies in Slovakia are usually open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 18.00, on weekends and holidays there is always a pharmacy open for emergencies in every city.
SLOVAKIA MOBILE PHONES AND INTERNET
Telephones: International dialing code to call Slovakia: 00421.
In cities it is possible to use telephone booths, which accept money or prepaid telephone cards. Telephone cards can be purchased at post offices and newsstands.
Mobile Phones: Slovakia has excellent coverage of the GSM 900/1800 network.
Mobile telephony operators: Orange, T-mobile, Telefónica O2.
Internet: The Internet is readily available in the larger cities and countries of Slovakia. A number of Internet retail outlets and cyber cafes found in almost every city offer Internet access. An increasing number of hotels offer high-speed connections to their customers.

Electricity: Electricity in Slovakia is 220 V / 50 Hz,
Electrical outlets: In Slovakia, the classic European standard power plugs and sockets used throughout the continent are in use, that is, type C. In addition to these, the type E power plugs and sockets are also used, which are similar to those used in France and Poland. An adapter is probably not necessary, but if you want the certainty of being able to recharge your electrical appliances, bring a universal adapter.

Banking Hours: Banks in Slovakia are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. In larger cities they usually stay open until 18:00. While in the largest shopping centers, banks are also open on weekends, and until 20.
